Manual
Aufmasstool is a measurement app for the building trades: measure, structure the site, match it to a bill of quantities, bill it and export it in the format your client reads.
The twelve chapters build on one another, but each can be read on its own.
The chapters
- Getting started — Creating an account, signing in — and what works without one: nothing.
- Projects and structure — Building, stairwell, floor, unit, room, item — and when a level is left out.
- Measuring — By hand, with the Bluetooth laser, with the camera or from a photo with a known reference.
- Shapes and building parts — Areas, solids, wall groups, cutouts — and counted building parts in millimetres.
- Bill of quantities — Reading in a bill of quantities, assigning measured items to their BoQ item, comparing planned against actual.
- Billing — Over-measurement under VOB/C, prices, quotation, interim invoice, final invoice and XRechnung.
- Exporting — PDF, Excel, CSV, GAEB X31, REB DA11 and the remaining formats.
- Photo documentation — Attaching media to any level, measuring in the photo and including it in the output.
- Working together — Account, cloud, team and project participants — four terms, kept cleanly apart.
- Plans — The four tiers and what each one unlocks in addition.
- Settings — Company details, tax, units, appearance and backup.
- Troubleshooting — The common cases and what to do in each.
